雕塑研究所

雕塑艺术创作研究所座落在朝阳区育慧里3号，成立于1954年，至今已有40余年的历史。
雕研所拥有国内规模最大的、设施最为完善的雕塑场所，总面积达5893平米。有高达15米、占地648平米的雕塑放大车间、可直接在里面放大制作雕塑模型，同时拥有30余间小型雕塑工作室。雕研所下设展厅、阅览室、资料室、摄影室等部门，现有研究员16名，副研究员12名，助理研究员5名。他们的雕塑作品参加了各种国际性的雕塑大赛和活动，在国内、国际荣获大奖60多次，并应邀为国内外设计创作大型雕塑百余件，在中国当代雕塑创作与研究中发挥着重要作用。

The Institute of Scuipture
Art Creation

Located at No.3, Yu Hui Li, Changyang District, the institute of Sculpture Art Creation was estab-lished in 1954.
The institute has the largest sculpture field in China with the most complete facilities, with a total area of 5,893 square meters. Sculpture models can be produced and magnified in the 15-meter-high,648-square-meter sculpture-magnifying Studio. There are about 30 smail sculpture Studios. The insti-tute consists of an exhibition hall, a reading room, a material room, a photography room, etc., with 16 researchers, 12 associate researchers and 5 assistant researchers, whose sculptures have taken part in various international sculpture competitions and activities and won more than 60 grand awards in China and abroad. They have been invited to design and create about one hundred pieces of large sculptures in China and abroad. The institute plays an important role in sculpture creation and re-search in contemporary China.
